Hi, I'm Maia.

(Pronounced Maya)

I'm a visually obsessed, native New Yorker, who's always searching for the coolest in design, food & travel.

Over the last 5 years, I left a well established career in healthcare to pursue my passion for design and writing.  This website is my little piece of inspiration, thoughts & adventures as I seek out the most creative spaces  & experiences around the world.

I hope you find this inspiring & share with me what inspires you as well! I'd love to hear from you. Thank you for visiting!

easy, breezy flower styling at home

easy, breezy flower styling at home

Hello!

I've always been a sucker for all things floral. My mom lives close to a gorgeous community garden in NYC & I grew up surrounded by fresh flowers on a daily basis. At home, I try to make it a point to always have fresh flowers on my coffee table. Flowers are a true mood changer!

In honor of it being “Spring weather, hurry up already!” time in NYC, I thought it would be helpful to share tips on some easy, breezy flower styling for your home.

Here are 5 cool ways to style your flowers with things you may already own:

1. Spruce up your coffee mug with some vibrant flowers.

2. Use your drinking glasses to hold a simple arrangement.

3. Up-cycle a used tin can.

4. Hold on to your favorite liquor bottles & use them to style flowers at home.

5. Use empty candle holders to add a chic vibe to your flower styling.
